Exciting Recipes That Help You To Lose Weight

If you want to lose weight, it is very important that you watch carefully what you eat. That does not necessarily mean that you need to eat less or that your diet will be boring and torturing. In fact, the best diet is one that does not look like a diet. Because if you make lasting changes in your diet, if you enjoy what you are eating, then you will continue to eat healthy and you will succeed in keeping the weight off.

If you want to know more about eating fat healthy and healthy sweeteners, check my articles in this blog relating to these topics.

The recipes in the weight loss recipe section are specifically designed for people trying to lose weight and include low-fat and low-carb recipes. You will find quick and healthy meal ideas for the whole day, from breakfast till dinner, and even snacks and shakes for in between.

And yes, even if you are watching your weight, you can still enjoy delicious desserts. You even should, because if you miss that sweet side of your life, you will anyways just start eating them again, and then your diet is out of the window and all your efforts lost. Why would you want to torture yourself like that? Rather diet with desserts! Just remember: Don’t overdo it! Keep desserts for one special day in the week.

This is what you should do:

  • Eat lots of vegetables and fruit in general. Fruit are also a brilliant snack, and so are many veggies.
  • Try to include loads of fruit into your dessert (or make them play the main part). Oranges, apples and bananas, for example, are not only healthy but they will even help you to lose weight as all three fruits are great fat burners. Serve them with some special spices like cinnamon, or combine them to a delicious fruit salad!
  • Use whole grain flour. It will fill you much quicker (so you eat less), and it contains much more fiber which will help you to lose weight.
  • Use low- or non-fat milk. Buttermilk also contains rather little fat.
  • Try to stay away from cream cheese and other high in fat ingredients like mascarpone. Use low-fat or fat-free smooth cottage cheese, curd cheese or ricotta instead.
  • Yoghurt is fine, just make it a low-fat one and make sure it is not sweetened. Yoghurt is a great basis for salad dressings. Just add some spices and a bit of vinegar.
  • Use natural sweeteners like raisins or honey instead of sugar. Many fruits are also naturally sweet, and using them you don’t need to add extra sugar.
