Roasted Beef With Green Beens

Here's an easy quick roasted beef dish, low in fat but high in taste!

Ingredients

  • 400 g rump steak
  • 4 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 tsp. ground ginger
  • 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 200 g deep frozen green beans
  • 1 ½ tsp. corn flour
  • 125 ml beef stock
  • 2 tsp. soy sauce extra
  • ¼ tsp. vegetable oil
Steps
  1. Cut the meat into thin strips. Mix soy sauce and ginger and mix it with the meat.
  2. Heat the oil in a pan, add meat and beans and stir-fry for about 5 minutes until the meat starts turning brown.
  3. Dissolve the corn flour in a bit of beef stock. Mix the rest of the beef stock, soy sauce and oil and add it together with the corn flour mixture to the meat and beans. Allow to boil until the sauce thickens.
  4. Serve with rice or pasta.
